Abstract EN

This research paper investigates the visualization of the image of one's beloved via a dream in the poetry of black poets.

It also sheds light on the manner these poets regard this as a state of compensation for the deprivation they suffer from in actuality.

Through this technique، those poets honor the woman and her stature in their hearts.

This، however، has been incarnated in their poetry.

It is worth noting that the pre-Islamic tribal poets eulogize the woman as a matter of course via the well-established convention.

Therefore، those poets tend to highlight and signalize the charms of woman publicly، secretly and implicitly.

Furthermore، the poets، at times، tend to take a different technique by resorting to visualization through which they cherish the beloved in their eulogies which are of a distinct type.

They do this so as to passionately approach the beloved in the wake of a prolonged separation and ence.

Due to their deprivation and hardship، black poets feel like obliged to deviate from the conventional norm by resort to visualization of the image of the beloved though this technique runs counter to that other tribal poets are used to.

This is، in fact، an outlet for them to get at their objective they are harboring in their innermost selves.

It is، however، adopted so as to atone for the hardships they are through most of their lives.
