This study seeks to solve the problem that revolves around the relationship between members of an African society and Islamic cemeteries, and what The extent to which this relationship does contribute to detection, analysis and formulation of the psychological, behavioral, social, cultural and mental structures of the members of that society.

The study relied on the descriptive historical method.

It also benefited from analysis as a tool for extrapolating and questioning texts and devising some graduations and facts.

The study also benefited from some science closely related to history such as sociology and social psychology.

The study concluded several results, the most prominent of which are: The image of the tomb was linked to the image of death and the position of the deceased person in the minds of members of society.

The relationship between the neighborhoods and the tombs turned out to be a place of consideration, and it was also a basis material in preaching, Guidance, supplication, visions, commandments, adage, representations, and lamentations.

The shape and construction of the tomb, and the apparatus of the deceased were primarily subject to class differentiation.

The study also concluded that there is a close relationship between the tomb and the prevailing beliefs and mentalities.
