Abstract EN

The Iraqi economy depends mainly in financing its development and spending programs on one resource, which is oil, as this resource is closely linked to external factors and fluctuations in the major global economies, so it is directly reflected on the actual performance of the Iraqi economy in implementing its programs.

the researcher reached several conclusions, including that the economy suffers from an imbalance in the restructuring of the economy, in addition to Iraq relying on the oil sector in a very large percentage in financing and preparing its annual budgets, and this matter leads to dislocation of the economy as the oil sector is linked to the global crises that occur in the economies.

the research reached several recommendations, including adopting the mechanism of economic diversification and not relying entirely on oil revenues, but rather making use of the rest of the service, agricultural and industrial sectors to finance spending programs, in addition to the need to develop the oil sector and not be satisfied with exporting crude from it.
