Abstract EN

The study aimed to: study the word “water” in the Holy Qur'an, a semantic grammatical study, and an explanation of the grammatical and morphological provisions included in the verses, showing the origin of the word “water” and its derivation, and the impact of its definition and denial on the semantic context of the verses, and an explanation of the water exits that were mentioned in the Qur'an.

In this study, I relied on the analytical investigative method, where I enumerated the verses of water in the Noble Qur'an, studied and analyzed them in a grammatical and semantic analysim
The research reached several results, the most important of which are: that the mention of water in the Holy Qur'an was in different forms, each formula carrying a different meaning that is not similar to its counterpart, explained by the context of the verses, and the grammatical provisions and readings of the Qur'an contained in the verses, according to the different Arabizers, and that the word “water” It was mentioned in about fifty-three places in the Holy Qur'an.

It was used in thirty-four places, of which it is undeniable, and it was used in nineteen other places that are known, but it was denied in the Holy Qur'an.
