Abstract EN

The study aimed to try to find out if there are differences between blind university students (males-females) in (social support-its dimensions-happiness), and also to find out if there are differences between blind and sighted females in (social support-happiness), detecting if there are Correlational relationship between social support in its dimensions and happiness among blind women.

The Social Support Scale was applied, prepared by "Zimt and Kanti" (2000) Arabization of "Abu Hashem", and the Oxford List of Happiness prepared by "Argyel Luo" translated by "Abdul-Khalek".

On the study sample (36) of (blind males, females) and sighted women, enrolled in the academic year 2020/2021 second semester, in the second, third, fourth year-Faculty of Arts-Cairo University, and the results of the study: There are statistically significant differences between the blind (males).

and females) in the total score of the social support scale and its dimensions (except for support from friends, others) in favor of blind females, and there are statistically significant differences between the blind (males and females) in the happiness scale in favor of (males), there are statistically significant differences between blind and sighted females in the total score On the scale of social support with its dimensions in favor of the blind women, there are no statistically significant differences between the blind and sighted women in the happiness scale, and there is a direct, statistically significant correlation between the family support dimension and happiness among blind females.
