Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the level of cultural intelligence and the efficiency of cognitive representation and the relationship between them among (male and female) scholarships from Umm Al-Qura University.

To achieve the goals of the study the current researcher prepared cultural intelligence and the efficiency of cognitive representation scales.

The sample of the study consisted of (150) scholars from all colleges in Umm Al-Qura university in Makkah, who were random stratified sampled, distributed as follows (75) male scholar and (75) female scholar from Umm Al-Qura University.

The study found that the level of both cultural intelligence and the efficiency of cognitive representation is high among the current study sample.

In addition, the study found that there were no statistically significant differences in cultural intelligence due to specialization and gender.

On the other hand, the study found that there were statistically significant differences in efficiency of cognitive representation due to gender in favor of female, and in the specialty in favor of practical specialties.

Additionally, the study found a positive correlation between cultural intelligence and the efficiency of cognitive representation.

In conclusion, the study recommends the establishment of cultural centers for the university to educate scholars on the importance of acquiring the skills of cultural intelligence, as well as strengthening the efficiency of knowledge representation of (male and female scholars, along with, organizing information, processing and coding it contributes positively to increasing the cultural intelligence among individuals.
