Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the degree of implementation of the program management standard indicators in the Deanship of the Preparatory year in Saudi universities, identify the obstacles that limit the application of the standard indicators and present a proposal to activate the program management standard indicators in the Deanship of the Preparatory year in Saudi universities.

The study tool was applied after confirming its validity and stability in three emerging universities: Shaqra University, Jazan University and Al Jouf University.

The study includes a random sample representing 30% of the original population of the study (396).

The results show the approval of the study sample with a degree of (sometimes) on the application of the following indicators: leadership with a general average of (3.23), planning with a general average of (3.25) and the relationship between the female and male students with a general average of (3.14).

It also show the approval of the study sample with a degree of (always) on the application of the following indicators: integrity with a general average of (3.50) and internal regulations and policies with a general average of (3.37).

And the approval of the study sample with a degree of (low) on the obstacles of applying the program management standard indicator with a general average of (2.08).

In additional to the approval of the study sample with a degree of (medium) on the requirements of applying the program management standard indicators with a general average of (2.69).

Based on the results, the study concludes with constructing a proposal to activate the program management standard indicators from the starting points, objectives, mechanisms, requirements and the difficulties that application may face
