Abstract EN

The study aimed to determine the correlation between Big Five personality factors, which included neuroticism, extraversion, acceptability, conscientiousness, openness to experience, and the independence of the gifted learning style.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher followed the mixed research method of the type of sequential explanatory design.

The study sample was limited to (36) gifted students at Al-Rowad Secondary School in Jubail Industrial City.

The researcher used the scale of the Big Five personality factors prepared by Al-Dhaim (2019), and the interview method was also used.

The results concluded that the study sample had some characteristics of the Big Five personality factors, which included (neuroticism-conscientiousness vigilance-openness to experience), respectively, and not some of the characteristics of the Big Five personality factors (extraversion-acceptability).

The results also found that there are inverse and direct relationships and the absence of a relationship in some cases between the Big Five personality factors and gifted learning styles.
