The study aimed to find out the ventilation problems in the modified traditional residential and to find solutions for these buildings and to identify functional buildings in Omdurman city and psychological requirements, and determine the specifications of ventilation and suitability And the definition of building elements for natural ،for the elements of Sudan environment The study identified .and its functional role in addressing the internal vacuum،ventilation The study adopted the .negative problems related to internal spaces and natural ventilation descriptive analytical approach, and the problem variables were described using books and research studies with a content analysis approach for the survey samples.

Accordingly, the main hypothesis was verified from the main hypothesis that the modification in traditional residential buildings in Omdurman resulted in problems with ventilation.

The most important results were to find solutions to the ventilation problems in the modified buildings, including the use of skylights (energies), changing the locations and sizes of the openings, and changing the position of the zinc ceiling from the level of the gabled, and the solutions were verified by making a corresponding form for the specialists.

The most important recommendations were represented in the necessity of promoting the spread of a culture of the importance of natural ventilation and the use of specialists in the modification of buildings and that the competent authorities are concerned with adding laws specific to the modified buildings.
