Abstract EN

The study involves the relationship between education and employment for a wide sample of countries classified into three groups by World Bank classification to high-income, middle-income, low-income countries.

The study used the kinetic scheduling data method, adopting the error correction model for scheduling data, and the parameters were estimated according to the method of average group and aggregate data capabilities that address the problem of long-term data heterogeneity.

The study included three Parts that addressed the first part as a theoretical introduction to the relationship between education and employment, through a review of education and employment theories, namely human capital and signal theories.

The second part addressed the previous studies on the relationship between education and employment.

The third part provided a description of the sample and the nature of the variables used in the sample countries, namely the education variable represented by the average years of education weighted by the return of the educational year as (indended variable), the employment variable represented by the proportion of workers to the working-age population as (depended variable), and finally the study reviewed the econetric results reached in each group classified by world bank standards per capita output, the results showed a long-term relationship between education and employment through the co-supplementation test for the total sample and the three income groups, and the study found that the long-term impact of employment education was positive for the overall sample as well as in the groups of high- and middle-income countries, while the impact of employment education was negative in low-income countries.
