The use of electronic payment methods has spread a lot in the current era, but their heavy spread led to a number of risks that destabilized the consumer’s confidence in them, which required the necessity of approving technical and legal protection for them from all forms of attacks affecting them, and this is the goal behind the research that we have done by examining it in the light of Algerian legislation, we conclude that the latter's protection of payment means is not sufficient, as there is no independent legal system regulating electronic payment.
