The purpose of this study is to identify the most significant risks associated with electronic payments.

technological development has enabled the creation of modern means of payment, generated by the development of the internet and the emergence of electronic commerce, however, with the high prevalence of electronic payment systems and the fact that they relate to many areas in addition to the large amount of cash carried through them, they face many risks, known as electronic payment risks.

one of the conclusions is that the modern payment system through these electronic means faces a number of important challenges: the fight against electronic money laundering, the fight against fraud, high security and protection of the need for a legal framework and regulation.
