The study aims to clarify the importance of the green economy, and to identify what are its sources of financinbstract: g, with a focus on green bonds as one of the innovative financing tools in green financial markets that target environmentally friendly projects.

This type of financing, these experiences are: the state of China as one of the most important international countries in issuing bonds, and some Arab experiences, such as the experience of the Emirates, Morocco and Egypt, and an explanation of the role of green bonds in supporting the Egyptian economy.

The study found the importance of switching to a green economy and financing it with green bonds to achieve a balance between increasing economic activity and reducing environmental pollution.

There is a slowdown in the transition towards a green economy in Arab countries in general, and that green bonds as an innovative financing tool for green investment are recent in Egypt, but they may contribute to supporting The Egyptian economy.
