Abstract EN

This article discusses the role of regional international organizations in the implementation of the principle of the responsibility to protect adopted by the United Nations at the 2005 World Summit, as an example of a case study of the International Organization of the United Nations.

Francophonie as one of the pioneering organizations that adopted this concept by highlighting the institutional development in the objectives of the organization of the cultural and linguistic function to the political position.

It allowed the organization to adopt the principle of the responsibility to protect and contribute to the settlement of international disputes in accordance with the principle of prevention.

Cet article traite du rôle des organisations internationales régionales dans la mise en œuvre du principe de la responsabilité de protéger adopté par les Nations Unies lors du Sommet mondial 2005, à titre d'exemple l'étude de cas de l'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie en tant que l'une des organisations pionnières qui ont adopté ce concept en mettant en évidence le développement institutionnel dans les objectifs de l'organisation de la fonction culturelle et linguistique à la position politique.

Elle a permis à l’organisation d’adopter le principe de la responsabilité de protéger et de contribuer au règlement des conflits internationaux conformément au principe de prévention.
