تعتبر الشركات المختلطة الاقتصاد المحلية عقود شراكة تبرم بين شريك من القطاع العمومي و آخر من القطاع الخاص بهدف تحقيق منفعة عامة لسكان إقليم معين في مـجالات عدة من الحياة كالسكن و النقل و التهيئة و الصحة.

الخ تحوز أغلبية رأسمالها جماعة أو عدة جماعات إقليمية يجب أن تكون بالضرورة عضوة في مجلس إدارتها.
و رغم أنها تتخذ شكل الشركة بالأسهم المنصوص عليه في القانون التجاري إلا أنها لا تخضع لنفس أحكامها التأسيسية لكن بالمقابل إمكانها اتباع النماذج الإدارية المتاحة في التسيير أي أكثر من نموذج و ما ينجم عن ذلك من آثار قانونية خاصة العضوية في المجلس التي تختلف من نموذج إلى آخر.

Local mixed economy companies are considered as partnership contracts concluded between a partner in the public sector and another in the private sector, in order to achieve a general public interest for the inhabitants of a specific territory in many areas of life , such as housing, transport, training, health, etc.
The majority of its capital is held by one or more local authorities, who must be members of their board of directors.
Although it takes the form of a Shareholding company company provided for by commercial law, it is not subject to the same founding provisions, but in return it can follow the forms of management available, that is to say more 'a model, and the resulting legal effects, including membership in the board which differs from one model to another.

Les sociétés d'économie mixte locales sont considérées en tant que contrats de partenariat conclus entre un partenaire du secteur public et un autre du secteur privé, afin de réaliser un intérêt général public des habitants d'un territoire spécifique dans de nombreux domaines de la vie, tels que le logement, les transports, la formation, la santé, … etc.
La majorité de son capital est détenue par une ou plusieurs collectivités territoriales, qui devront obligatoirement être membres de leur conseil d'administration.
Bien qu'elle prenne la forme de la société par actions prévues par le droit commercial, elle n'est pas soumise aux mêmes dispositions fondatrices, mais en contrepartie elle peut suivre les formes de gestion disponibles, c'est-à-dire plus d'un modèle, et les effets juridiques qui en découlent, notamment l'adhésion au conseil qui diffère du modèle à l’autre.
