Abstract EN

As for the topic on which we relied on in the study it is (patience and its psychological motives in Abbasid poetry - Abu Tammam and Al-Mutanabi as a model).

This study aims to explain the psychological motives that lead the poet to patience, and through the intense reading of the diaries of the poets Abu Tammam and Al-Mutanabi.

It was found many motives of patience among the poets which came in poetic purposes praise, mourning, pride, and spinning, which resulted from a psychological and subjective motive.

The first section of the research included a study of patience in poetic purposes, in which we talked about praise, mourning, pride, and spinning as the poets introduced patience into their poems, which stemmed from the influence of a psychological stimulus.

As for the second section, we talked about the artistic study, which included the study of language and style of interrogation, denial and affirmation, and we also talked about the poetic image of simile, metaphor and metaphor, which showed the creativity of poets in drawing the image of patience, as for poetic music, we studied in its external music, which included weight, rhyme and music.
