Abstract EN

This study aims mainly to uncover the role of e-government in improving public services through some pioneering foreign and arab experiences in this field and the results achieved, and by using the analytical descriptive method and the case study method.

The study concluded that e-government is an effective tool to improve the quality of public services, combat corruption in its various forms, and overcome bureaucracy, as it guarantees: fast completion of transactions, increase mastery, simplifying procedures, cut costs, administrative transparency, and this is confirmed by the experiences of Dubai, Singapore, The Bhoomi e-government project of Karnataka, in implementing e-government.
