The International Criminal Court has adopted the guarantees of a fair trial, as it stipulated many guarantees, including the principle of legality in criminalization and punishment, the equality of all before the judiciary, the presumption of innocence, the publicity of the trial, informing the accused of the charges against him, taking sufficient time to prepare his defense and his right to be tried without undue delay He has, in addition to being tried in his presence, his right to question witnesses, his right to the assistance of an interpreter, his right to remain silent and other guarantees enshrined in the Statute of the International Criminal Court and to decide against him the penalties predetermined by the text of the law without other penalties in accordance with clear and specific legal mechanisms.
