Abstract EN

This research deals with a literary figure affiliated geographically to the countries of the Islamic West, and what he left of the literary output in his encyclopedia called (Moroccan genius).

The limits of the research are determined by its subject matter; the topic revolves around Abdullah Kanoun and his book Moroccan Genius in terms of introducing him and his approach in his book, and identifying some of the poetic purposes he mentioned, with examples of them.
