مستوى الأمل لدى عينة من تلاميذ مرحلة التعليم الثانوي : دراسة في إطار نموذج علم النفس الايجابي

Abstract EN

The current study aims to measure the level of hope of a sample of secondary education students, as well as to know the differences between them in the scores of hope according to the variables of gender and age.

The study sample consisted of (357) male and female students who were chosen in a simple random way from some secondary schools in El Oued city, Algeria, during the academic year 2018-2019.

Their ages ranged between (14-22) years.

After using Snyder's Hope Scale (Arabization of Abd al-Khalek, 2004) following the descriptive method and treating the data statistically, the results revealed that there is a level close to the average in hope among the sample members, and that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of hope according to the gender variable While there were statistically significant differences according to the age variable.
