Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the training needs for teaching faculty members in the Deanship of the Preparatory Year at the University of Hail from their point of view.

The sample of the study consists of (123) faculty members during the academic year (2020-2021).

The descriptive survey method, and the development of the questionnaire was used as tool for the study that consisted of (21) items distributed in three areas.

The results concluded that the overall arithmetic mean of the training needs was of a high degree, and that there were no statistically significant differences due to the impact of years of experience, sex and qualification in all fields and in the total degree.

The study recommended a number of recommendations, including the development of training programs and plans that cover all training needs and include all faculty members.
