Abstract AR
Abstract EN
In this article, we will try to demonstrate to what extent orality is prevalent in French language literature, particularly in the novel entitled Allah is not obliged to Ahmadou Kourouma.
First, we will try to see how this novelistic works is an oral work, a living word that transcribes the socio-cultural foundations and traditions of African peoples and ethnic groups, being written trough a hybrid code that brings together both written and spoken language.
In a second step, we will try to highlight the stakes and discursive strategies specific to orality in order to highlight the role they play in the postcolonial literature.
