Abstract AR

The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of using mobile learning in developing the reading skills
of hearing impaired pupils at the primary school, she discussed the literacy skills that hearing-impaired students should have
in primary school, the sample of the study included (17) pupils from the upper grades hearing impaired and communication
disorders program attached to Qutaiba bin Muslim primary school in the city of Hafr Al-Batin, The study was based on the
semi-experimental method where the researchers prepared a test consisting of (20) questions divided on the skills of reading
comprehension Literal - deductive – critical, The most important results of the study is the importance of relying on smart
mobile devices in providing students with hearing impaired reading skills, The study found statistically significant
differences between the average scores of hearing impaired students in the pretest And the post-test in terms of reading skills
for the benefit of the post-application taught in a mobile learning, The magnitude of the effect of the independent variable
"mobile learning" varied according to the variable "development of literal understanding skills", "development of deductive
understanding skills" or "development of critical understanding skills", However, they are all high in the range of high
impact.
