Abstract EN

Due to the importance of sadness phenomenon in the conventions of citizens in the past, and in recent times.

we preferred writing its most important actual forms, and studying those expressions semantically with approaching to the Arabic language.

The study follows the approach that selects the common expressions with verbal structures referring to sadness.

we tried as much as possible studying all the expressions with verbal structures selectively considering it methodical and professional somewhat.

This selectivity was based on the selection of the words with the required significance (expressing sadness) according to the alphabet used in the Akkadian language dictionaries.

I studied it in terms of the actual structural formula that appeared in the text, its semantic meaning, and approaching it with the Arabic language to achieve the desired goal of such studies represented by showing the originality of the Arabic language and its linguistic phenomena through a comparative linguistic lesson.

The study methodology relied on examining the Akkadian text to employ meanings, describe them, and move them through the semantic levels to clarify the eloquence of the Akkadian individual, his accuracy, and his motives in choosing the words and expressions moving them rhetorically in the text to give the intended meaning behind each word.
