Abstract EN

This paper highlights the reality of the edges (sea-ports) at the east of Mediterranean.

These edges (Thughour in Arabic) includ: Tarsus, Lattakia, Jibla, Tartous, Banias, Tripoli, Jbeil, Beirut, Saida, Tire, Acre, Ashkelon and Gaza.

The paper institutes its military an economic role until it stood independent alone units, and then how its cities captured under the administrative domain of the Arab Islamic state.
