Employing the innovations of educational technology in teaching is one of the important and contemporary issues, as everyone realized that the future of countries depends on the creativity of their children, and the extent to which they challenge the problems and demands of change.
Hence the need to conduct a study dealing with the employment of these innovations in teaching Islamic education.
The sample consisted of teachers (100) and students (140) male and female.
The descriptive approach was chosen by developing two questionnaires of (20) items, one for teachers, containing (10) items, and the other for students consisting of (10) items as well.
Weighted means, percentile weights, and t-test were used as statistical methods for the analysis.
The results showed that teachers employ technological innovations in their teaching of Islamic education to a medium degree, and that students' attitudes towards technological innovations were also medium.
And there were no clear differences in the employment and trend towards these innovations according to the stage for teachers and students, and the research concluded with a number of recommendations and future prospects for research.
