All business organizations have faced many challenges as a result of rapid and continuous changes.

This, traditional management is unable to make the institution competitive.

This requires institutions to use advanced management methods so that they can adapt and control the changes that occur in their environment and raise their performance to the level of developments in reality, which allows them to maintain their competitive position, and this method is represented in the strategic management, where some institutions may succeed by coincidence in the short term without practicing this method, but in the long term can only remain the founders this is because it contributes to the activation of its performance and gives the institution the ability to have a competitive advantage and continue to increase its ability in the face of intense local and international competition.

Hence, the importance of implementing strategic management and Its prominent role in activating the institutional performance, and which was revealed in the National Civil Engineering and Building Society, Where a model Was made up of an independent variable represented in strategic management and a independent variable represented in institutional performance, where the statistical results indicated the implementation of the stages of strategic management in the institution under study and the existence of correlation between the two variables.

Besides, a set of recommendations was reached most notably the need to involve all strategic business units in the institution and achieve interaction in the internal and external work environment of the institution and the consequent determination of the role of each system in achieving betterment for the institution.
