The current research aims to identify (the effect of the logical alignment strategy in acquiring historical concepts for fifth-grade literary students and developing their decision-making ability).

The researcher adopted the experimental design with two equal groups, to suit it with the nature of the research, and the research sample consisted of (53) students who were deliberately selected from Al-Hikma Secondary School for Girls, and this sample was randomly divided into two groups, one of them was an experimental group, which included (26) students who studied history using the logical alignment strategy, and the other was a control group consisting of (27) students, who studied the same subject in the traditional way.

Statistically, there are a number of variables that are believed to affect the safety of the experiment, and these variables are: (the chronological age of the students, calculated in months, the decision-making ability scale).

The researcher identified the (11) historical concepts, and in light of these concepts, the researcher prepared behavioral objectives that measure the processes of concept acquisition (definition, distinction, application), and the researcher prepared model teaching plans for both groups.

The researcher adopted two tests to measure his research variables.

The first test was the acquisition of historical concepts test and it consisted of (33) items of the type of multiple choice, and verified its validity, stability and distinction, as well as conducting statistical analyzes of its paragraphs.

The researcher also prepared a measure of decision-making ability, and the scale may be In its final form of (30) paragraphs, and verified its sincerity, stability and distinction, then the researcher began applying the experiment on 1/11/2019 and the experiment continued until 9/1/2020.

The results showed that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the test of acquiring historical concepts and the ability to Make decision
