Abstract EN

Children with cerebral palsy need to provide an environment that has special characteristics that differ from the traditional natural environment.

Whereas, the mainstreaming process needs many professional capabilities in order to achieve the desired results for the social worker to practice his role during the mainstreaming process; We find that it faces many obstacles that hinder the achievement of the goals of that process, so this study sought to identify those obstacles that social workers face in mainstreaming cases of children with cerebral palsy, and to come up with a proposed program to overcome the obstacles that social workers face in integrating cases of cerebral palsy children.

This study belongs to the descriptive studies, and it relied on the comprehensive social survey methodology for social workers in the Maadi Educational Administration - Cairo Governorate, whose number is (69) single.

The study also used a questionnaire form on the obstacles facing social workers in mainstreaming cases of children with cerebral palsy.

The level of obstacles is high, especially with regard to social workers, so they need professional development.
