After the concept of development focused mainly on material aspects, various ideas calling for attention to the human dimension of the individual crystallized in what is known as human development that works to promote the individual as an essential element in any development process.

on the other hand, we find that administrative corruption is one of the biggest concerns looming in the horizon when talking about any development process, in this research paper an econometric model of cross-sectional data for the year 2019 for 172 countries was constructed, which we found represents a statistically linear relationship between the independent variable of corruption and the dependent human development variable, as we found that corruption has a dampening effect of the human development process.
