Abstract EN

A country's ability to pursue sustainable development paths depends to a large extent on the quality of its institutional structures.

In other words, effective institutions are essential for sustainable development.

In this post we aim to analyze the relationship between institutions and sustainable development in Algeria.

Using a descriptive presentation of key issues related to sustainable development and their determinants, with a focus on the role of institutions.

We will apply this framework to aspects of institutional arrangements in the Algerian economy in order to assess its ability to achieve sustainable development.

We will analyze several governance indicators (data to measure governance aspects such as voice, accountability, rule of law, etc.) and sustainable development indicators (e.g.

income level, unemployment rate, etc.).

On the premise that the growing number of institutions is not really important, it is to develop good institutions that promote progress and economic growth.

Subsequently, we will focus on policies and strategies to improve and strengthen existing institutions in order to support sustainable development
