Sustainable development is not new, the search for a balance between environmental protection and economic and social development has long been at the center of concerns and reflections.
The aim of this article is to take stock of the design of sustainable development, as well as its economic theories, which show the different levels of commitment in terms of integrating the concept of sustainable development into our organizations and societies.

Le développement durable n'est pas récent, la recherche d'un équilibre entre protection de l'environnement et développement économique et social a été depuis longtemps au centre des préoccupations et des réflexions.
L'objectif de cet article est de faire le point sur la conception du développement durable, ainsi que ses théories économiques, qui montrent les différents niveaux d'engagement en termes d'intégration du concept de développement durable dans nos organisations et nos sociétés.
