This study aims to identify environmental governance and its role in achieving the dimensions of sustainable development by presenting the experiences of some companies in the Arab countries, where the majority of investors prefer directing their investments to companies whose activities do not cause damage to the environment.

Therefore, the application of well established principles of environmental governance has become An indispensable option within an integrated framework through a set of regulations and rules that establish the necessary controls to preserve the components of the environment and sustainable development.

Despite the importance of the contributions of some companies in the Arab countries in the field of environmental governance, they have never achieved real social and economic development through a holistic concept related to sustainable development, especially since environmental governance practices are still below international standards and standards.
