Abstract EN

This study aims to analyze the evolution of the education sector expenditures in Algeria during the period (2000-2019), by diagnosing the efforts of the state to support the education sector through the public spending policy, in light of the huge resources it has expended on development programs, in this regard.

Because it has a role in achieving human development in particular and economic development, by analyzing the evolution of the percentage of spending allocated to the sector and determining the extent to which the desired goals have been achieved.

Through this study, we found an increase in education expenditures from one year to another and from one development program to another, which shows the state's intention to achieve and improve the educational situation and the level of education, as well as the inconsistency of the expenditures allocated and the achievement of expenditures.
