Abstract EN

In response to what is enshrined in international human rights law, the Algerian constitutional founder consecrated the rights and freedoms recognized at the international level to women by stipulating them in the preamble and the text of the constitution, as these rights varied between civil and political rights and economic, social and cultural rights.

These rights are sometimes practiced on an equal basis with men.

Women and sometimes prefer women over men in the context of promoting women's fortunes to achieve de facto equality between the sexes, and the constitutional founder singled out Algerian women with special protection against all forms of violence.

Where this study aims to highlight the most important rights of women enshrined in the constitutional amendment of the year 2020 and to draw out the shortcomings that face them.
