Enter Accountability and the rule of law is among the most important governance principles that interact with a range of other factors and mechanisms in order to optimize the management of state finances.

It is about directing and supervising public funds and ensuring that the law is respected when public bodies and officials spend them, in accordance with the general objectives of the state.

This is in line with the general objectives of the state, in order to meet the needs of the population and improve their standard of living.

In this context, Algeria, like other States, is committed to strengthening the rule of law by examining legal texts, improving and consolidating them with new texts that evolve and adapt to social situations and economical to remedy all imbalances and deviations that could occur in the management and operation of public expenditure, and to hold managers and officials accountable.

This research paper aims to learn more about Algeria's level of adherence to the principle of responsibility and accountability of civil servants and on the application of the law by the principle of the rule of law and its consequence on the extent of corruption.
