Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the contribution of teaching performance evaluation in order to improve the quality of higher education from the point of view of both professors and students of El oued- University.

The study has followed the descriptive analytical approach, and it has consisted of(300) teachers and students, who have been chosen randomly.

The teaching performance in improving the quality of high education according to the viewpoints of professors and university students was of a low degree, and there are no statistically significant differences in the professors 'point of view about this contribution according to their academic rank.

Meanwhile, there are statistically significant differences in the students' view of this contribution according to their different academic specialization in favor of students of humanities and social sciences.
