Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the obstacles of the integration of hearing impaired persons (deaf, hard of hearing) from the viewpoint of their parents, and to achieve the objectives of this study was adopted descriptive approach, has also developed a measure of obstacles to the integration of hearing disabilities consisting of (68) paragraph has been verified implications of honesty and stability.

the study sample was chosen intentionally and consisted of (141) parents.

the results of the study showed that: the arithmetic mean of the integration of hearing impaired persons as a whole (4.04) with a high rating, and that the highest dimensions are (environmental dimension), followed by (psychological dimension), followed by (educational dimension), and finally the social dimension and its appreciation is the lowest average arithmetic between dimensions.

the study showed that there are no differences for the elements of the variable that include hearing impairments due to the demographic variable (sex of the disabled, severity of the disability), and there are statistically significant differences for the obstacles of the integration of the hearing impaired due to the variable (age of the disabled, the educational qualification of the guardian, the monthly income of the guardian).

it recommended the need to raise awareness of parents, teachers, educators and educational leaders on the importance of the issue of obstacles to the integration of people with hearing disabilities in the teaching and educational process.
