Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the degree of practicing transformational leadership dimensions and change management by public school principals, from the teachers’ point of view, in Zarqa governorate, and determines the relationship between them.

two questionnaires were developed by the researcher.

the first questionnaire is of (20) items related to the transformational leadership dimension (MLQ), and the second questionnaire is of (18) items related to the change management.

the population of the study consisted of (8665) teachers, and a cluster sample (376) was chosen randomly.

the study showed the following result : the degree of practicing transformational leadership dimensions and change management by the public school principals in Zarqa governorate, from the teachers’ point of view were medium, and there is a statistically significant correlation between transformational leadership and change management, and there is a difference on the arithmetic averages on the study sample responses, for both sex and experience variables, beside females and the more years in service.
