Abstract EN

This study aimed to explore the perspective of faculty members at Shaqra University regarding the reality of e-learning, its obstacles, and suggestions for improvement.

The study also intended to investigate if there is any significant difference between the faculty’s perspectives due to their gender, majors, experience, and attendance at e-learning training sessions.

The descriptive approach was adopted by distributing the questionnaire to the faculty members; 110 questionnaires were completed.

The study results revealed that the faculty often apply some forms of e-leaming.

The outcomes also indicated some important obstacles, such as faculty burdens, the conflict between the scheduling of training sessions and faculty schedules, and the lack of incentives for participation.

The development of infrastructure, the provision of incentives, and good platforms are the most significant suggestions recommended to improve e-learning.

The study showed significant differences between the respondents’ suggestions due to the gender, majors, and experience variables.

There are also significant differences related to the reality of e-learning related to experience and attending training sessions.
