هدف البحث : تقييم الخزعات المأخوذة من بصلة العفج بالنسبة للتبدلات النسيجية المشخصة للداء الزلاقي مقارنة بالخزعات المأخوذة من القسم الثاني للعفج.
طرق البحث : تم الحصول على خزعات نسيجية بالتنظير من 44 مريضا (23 أنثى و 21 ذكر) لديهم شك سريري بوجود داء زلاقي.
تم إجراء أربع خزعات من بصلة العفج و الجزء الثاني منه، تم إيراد التبدلات النسيجية الملاحظة تبعا لتصنيف Marsh.
النتائج : لوحظ تشابه في التبدلات النسيجية الملاحظة في خزعات بصلة العفج و خزعات الجزء الثاني من العفج في جميع الحالات باستثناء أربع منها.
الاستنتاجات : تظهر عينات الأغشية المخاطية المأخوذة من بصلة العفج و الجزء الثاني منه ترابطا قويا من الناحية النسيجية.
Abstract EN
Objective : To evaluate duodenal bulb biopsies with respect to histological changes in the diagnosis of celiac disease as compared with biopsies from second part of duodenum.
Methods : Endoscopic biopsies were obtained from 44 patients (23 females and 21 males), suspected clinically as having celiac disease.
Four biopsy samples were obtained from each duodenal bulb and second part of duodenum.
The histological changes were reported according to Marsh's classification.
Results : The histological changes were equally similar from biopsies of duodenal bulb as compared to second part in all except four patients.
Conclusions : Mucosal specimens taken from duodenal bulb and second part of duodenum were strongly correlated histologically.
