Abstract EN

The narrators of Islamic history are considered the founders of the methodology of historical writing because of the systematic connotations contained in their heritage.

It can be considered the first attempt to separate history from literature and distinguish it with systematic references.

Some great historians who came after them, such as Al-Tabari, Al-Waqdi, and Al-Masoudi, then Al-Kafji, Al-Sakhawi and Ibn Khaldun relied on it to build their school of historical writing in a scientific and systematic manner.

In order to clarify the role of some of those who were overlooked by scholars, the conscious reading indicates that they have used many research and methodological mechanisms that are now considered among the basics of the historical method and historical writing.

This study examines some examples of writing style and its mechanisms for these narrators, and its relationship to building the historical approach which is considered the origin of Islamic civilization.
