Abstract EN

The role of scouts in consolidating the values of citizenship from the point of view of scout leaders in the schools of the ministry of education in Jordan.

the aim of the research is to identify the role of scouts in consolidating the values of citizenship from the point of view of scout leaders in the schools of the ministry of education in Jordan.

scout leaders in the schools of the ministry of education in Jordan, which included (72) leaders and (108) leaders, after ensuring their validity and stability, and the descriptive approach was used.

the results concluded that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the responses of the sample members of the scout leaders about the role of scouts in consolidating the values of citizenship due to the variable gender and years of experience, and there were statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) between the responses the sample members of the scouts leaders about the role of scouts in consolidating the values of citizenship is attributed to the scout qualification variable, and among the recommendations of the study : the importance of the scout group to include the values of citizenship in the scout curriculum.
