Abstract EN

The present study aims at exploring the effectiveness of a proposed program based on the successful intelligence theory in developing some twenty-first century skills among female students who are teachers of history.

the sample of the study is limited to (55) female student-teachers who are registered in the fourth year at the department of history (educational section), faculty of women, Ain shams university.

the analytical descriptive approach and the semi-experimental approach have been used during the research procedures.

to achieve the aims of the study, some tools have been prepared (teacher's guide, student's book, tests of some twenty-first century skills, a scale of some twenty-first century skills).

the results have revealed the presence of a statically significant difference between the average grades of the research sample group in the pre and post applications of the tests measuring the twenty-first century skills, in favor of the post-application, in addition to the presence of a statically significant difference between the average grades of the research sample in the pre and post applications of the scale measuring some twenty first century skills, in favor of the post-application.

accordingly, the present study reveals the effectiveness of a proposed program based on the successful intelligence theory in developing the twenty-first century skills among female students who are teachers of history.
