In order to protect the environment from pollution, the environmental administrative control authorities exercise their power to impose sanctions, as a result of individuals' attack on the interest protected by the environmental legislator, which is the human right to live in a healthy and clean environment.

However, on the one hand, these sanctions may focus on the financial liability of the polluter, in the form of an administrative fine, environmental collection, and confiscation.

On the other hand, it may not affect the financial liability by issuing warnings, or closing the facility and stopping it from work, as well as canceling the licenses that were issued in the frame work of the urban expansion process or to engage in an industrial activity, in addition to the settlement and demolition procedures, and forced execution.
