The study seeks to identify the reality of knowledge integration between the field of libraries, archives and information and the field of museums at the level of academic programs and courses in Arab and foreign departments and schools of libraries and information since, the aim of this study is to make this integration a tangible reality by proposing some basic museums academic courses to be included in the academic programs of departments of libraries and information in Arab universities, to achieve this, the study relied on a survey research methodology to study the academic programs in the library and information departments that already included museum studies courses among its specialized courses at the level of foreign and Arab universities, in addition to that it relied on the comparative methodology and the content analysis methodology to study the guides and descriptions of these programs to evaluate and compare their compatibility with the standards of museum studies programs and courses.

the study has reached several results, on top of which is the richness of the knowledge integration process between the two fields in the departments and schools of libraries and information at the level of foreign universities than in Arab universities, whether at the level of academic programs, or academic courses for museum studies in these departments, which indicates the necessary need to strengthen the knowledge integration between the two fields at the level of Arab library and information departments, and this is what the study seeks to achieve.
