Abstract.

this study is considered a modernized juristic study and mainly concerned with holding tarawih prayers at home coupled with the best practices.

To this aim, the researcher has first collected and investigated Hadith and its fallouts, then conducted a probe into the actions of the righteous predecessors, while comparing so to the words of jurists from other schools of thought and sects.

The study concluded that Optional Night Prayers (Taraweeh) at home is legitimate – however, conditional on adherence to mosques as scholars warned.
