Abstract EN

This study aims to build an econometric model to measure the impact of government investment spending on economic growth in Algeria, based on annual data during the period 1980-2019 using the autoregressive distributed lag approach (ARDL).

the study found the ineffectiveness of the expansionary spending policies used to support and stimulate economic growth in Algeria, despite the huge amounts allocated to cover government investment spending, the achieved results remain below the required level, which necessitates a review of these policies.
