This research paper deals with the issue of employing the mythical deviation and its implications in the poetic discourse of Othman Lossif who was a forerunner to engage in the modernist poetic experiment at the beginning of the eighties.

it is represented in his first volumes Alkitaba Binnar, published in 1982.

the employment of the mythical deviation by Othman Lossif gave his poetry an aesthetic and symbolic dimension full of implications.

this leads to the question of the most important mythical deviations that he used in his poetry.

what are their implications ? to what extent did the poet succeed to express his views ?
