Abstract EN

The study aimed to counting and analyze the scientific productivity about published on big data in the field of libraries and information in the web of science (WOS) database, and to identify its numerical and qualitative trends, and the web of science (WOS) database was chosen because it contains more than 161 million scientific records.

and 34 thousand peer-reviewed journals, and data analysis was performed using Ms Excel-Ms access, and Biblioshiny and Vosviewer bibliometric analysis programs, and by using the survey method, the study reached several results, the most important of which are : the intellectual production subject of the study in the period from (2005 AD to January 2021 AD) reached 1322 works, the united states of America and china ranked first in terms of the number of intellectual production published in this topic, and the international journal of information management topped the first place in terms of the number of articles published, and with a high impact factor, the absence of any Arab country in the list of the most published countries on this topic also, in addition to the absence of any international and research cooperation in this field between the Arab countries and the most cooperative countries in this field, and accordingly the study recommends working on all Arab researchers in the field of libraries and information by increasing intellectual production in this field, publishing in specialized international journals with a high impact factor.
